Where the world ended

The sky seemed to burn. The lights cast empty shadows on the already desolate buildings, as if the ghosts had returned to haunt. The sky was so thick, it seemed as if I were to be consumed.

The pollution that surrounded the city mixed with the approaching fog, trapping my fear into this now abandoned town.
