It had been the week from hell. Firstly, I'd been stuck in bed with the nasty lurgy everyone was sharing recently. Secondly, all my students were emailing me stressed for their exams next week. I know, I should have just turned off my phone whilst I was dying in bed. And lastly, I was extremely lonely. And this last point was the reason my week went from hell to get me out of here. I will admit I was swiping right (don't judge me; I know you've done it). As I mentioned earlier: extremely lonely stuck in bed sick and starved of contact. I will admit I was getting older and I could feel that biological clock ticking. What I won't admit is expecting to match with a colleague at school. I'm not sure if it was the cold and flu medicine induced coma that caused me to swipe right. Or the lack of sleep from coughing. Or the complete loss of sanity for the millisecond. What I am sure of is he matched with me. And this is when my week from hell surpassed all my nightmares.
