Tears of justice

She glanced out the window, in the hopes of seeing something that would change her mind, something that would help her forget.
The pain tormented her insides, causing sadness.
She watched the wind play with the trees, and wished she could be as free as they were.
She tore her gaze away from the window and back to the gun she held in her hand.
No one would ever know why. No one would care what happened. No one would save her.
She lifted the gun to her temple, taking off the safety.
A tear slowly slid down her cheek, as she looked up, ready and focused on what she had to do.
When all of a sudden, a figure moved across the street through the window. She tried to focus and ignore any distractions, but something about his actions were suspicious. Out of the ordinary. He crept towards the dumpster at the side of the apartment building, opening the lid and looking around to see if anyone was watching him. He then walked back to his car, which was parked near the wall, and opened the boot/trunk. He dragged a large black bag along the ground, then threw the obviously heavy contents into the dumpster. He slammed the lid, looked around nervously, then grinning, walked back to his car and drove off.
She put the gun back on the table, as she cocked her head to the side and pondered.
‘That was weird’, she thought. She was tempted to ignore it, and picked up the gun again. Then she put it back down, stood up, and walked out of her apartment.
