Empathetic…no just pathetic

“I did not walk into that.” I said.

“No, of course not. It jumped out at you, I saw it.” He teased.

“I’m glad we’re agreed. Well, nice to meet you, I better be off.” I began to move away.

“Wait.” He began.

I slowed to turn, then proceeded to collide with another wall.

“Why did you want me to wait?” I asked, picking myself off the floor.

“I didn’t get your name.”
